Recycling information for 2017

Table Rock is on route A for recycling, with pickup every other Thursday (except holidays). Have containers to the curb by 7 a.m. For service questions, call 525-1711. For billing questions, call 527-4479. Visit wallawallawa.gov/recycling for a complete list of items that are accepted. You can also download a recycling calendar PDF from the city.

Acceptable items for recycling

  • Aluminum and metal cans
  • Cardboard
  • Cereal and food boxes
  • Magazines and phone books
  • Mixed paper and junk mail
  • Newspapers
  • Juice and milk cartons
  • Plastics (bottles with necks and tubs 6 ounces or larger but no lids)

Not acceptable (when in doubt, keep it out!)

  • Glass bottles, jars or drinking glasses
  • Mirrors
  • Ceramics
  • Styrofoam containers, peanuts or blocks
  • Plastic bags, plates, cups, utensils or deli containers
  • Batteries
  • Light bulbs
  • Pill bottles
  • Tissue paper
  • Food waste
  • Pet waste
  • Yard trimmings
